What are weft hair extensions?
Weft hair extensions have hair joined along a continuous top edge or band. The construction describes the product; the installation method describes how a trained stylist attaches it. DR offers Genius, Hand-Tied, Flat, Machine, Volume and Butterfly Weft, each with its own pack format and professional application requirements.
Start with the intended result, natural-hair coverage and your stylist’s fitting method. Then compare the actual product specifications. Pack weight is a purchasing unit, not a recommendation for the amount to install on every client.

Fine strands and low density need different assessments. Consider healthy supporting hair, covering hair, intended length and installed weight. A narrow band does not establish suitability on its own. Sparse, fragile or actively shedding hair requires an appropriate professional assessment.

Genius Weft and Butterfly Weft include ready-stock selections, confirmed by shade and length. Hand-Tied, Flat, Machine and Volume Weft are made to order. Confirm the chosen hair, pack layout and dispatch schedule before booking installations.
Hand-Tied custom hair orders and Genius and Butterfly hair orders start at 100g per color and length. Flat, Machine and Volume Weft have a 100g minimum order; confirm the shade allocation and pack configuration with your quote. Paid samples let you review the product before expanding an assortment.
Ask for production or dispatch timing separately from shipping. Include your destination country and postal code for the available courier service, freight and transit estimate. Labels, boxes and other private-label requirements have separately confirmed quantities and schedules.

EVIDENCE BEFORE SCALE
Inspect the sample. Keep a reference.
Quality checks are carried out at each stage of production. Each pack of hair is weighed against the agreed pack weight. The final pre-shipment inspection is carried out by sampling. If sampling identifies a nonconformity, the affected shipment is fully re-inspected. Key sampling checks include weight, measured length, color under dedicated inspection lighting, shedding and smoothness.
For your sample evaluation, record the shade, length, grams, piece count, width and attachment condition. Agree the wash-and-dry procedure and acceptance criteria, and retain the approved sample for reorders. A product photograph does not establish a completed wear test or a guaranteed service life.

Are weft hair extensions suitable for fine hair?
Fine strands and low density are different considerations. Suitability depends on healthy supporting hair, coverage, installed weight and placement. A trained stylist must assess the proposed service. A thin seam or a 100g pack does not establish a universally suitable installation.
How many grams of weft hair do I need?
The required quantity depends on natural density, current length, desired result and the proposed attachment. Ask your stylist to decide the installed amount. Pack weight, piece count and unfolded width are purchasing specifications; they should be confirmed separately.
Can all wefts be cut or reused?
Follow the selected product's cutting and removal guidance. DR Flat, Machine and Volume Weft can be cut to size without extra reinforcement at the cut edge. DR Hand-Tied Weft has short return hair; keep the seam intact because cutting can release hair and cause shedding. Confirm guidance for other constructions before resizing. Reuse requires professional inspection of both the hair and attachment condition.
What is the minimum wholesale order?
DR Hand-Tied Weft custom orders and Genius and Butterfly Weft stock and custom hair orders start at 100g per color and length. Flat, Machine and Volume Weft have a 100g minimum order; confirm the complete shade and pack selection with the quotation. Custom packaging has separate quantities and schedules.
Can I order a sample before buying a collection?
Paid samples are available for evaluation. Hand-Tied, Genius and Butterfly Weft sample hair uses wholesale hair pricing, with shipping quoted separately. Confirm sample specifications, cost and timing for Flat, Machine and Volume Weft with your quotation. Include your destination so freight can be quoted.
